Wireless Broadband Access Network Coordination

Known Canopy ISPs in W. Mich.: fnw, latestwave, michwave, wirelesstechsolutions

(Please email any unknown canopy WISPs to steve@michwave.com so that their name can be added to the list.)

Initial coordination should be accomplished through the use of "common" canopy sync settings. Actual channel/direction coordination can be entertained at a later date.

Below are suggestion for Canopy sync settings based on:

These settings can be changed with a request to each ISP and then majority approval of the above mentioned WISP(s). Everyone has to be flexible for this to work. It is in the best interest for everyone that this coordination will result in improved spectrum efficiency, reliability, and overall end-user experience.

The operator inputs various AP settings into the calculator, and the calculator outputs many details on the frame including the Uplink Rec SQ Start. This calculation should be done for each AP that has different settings. Then the operator varies the Downlink Data percentage in each calculation until the calculated Uplink Rec SQ Start for all collocated APs is within 300 time bits.
